Many critics are completely up their own asses about this film and I hope they enjoy having those wrong opinions. This movie rocked. I haven't felt this way since the days of Child's Play and Lepprechaun. Great kills and gore, plenty of funny moments and very good acting by the mains. A lighter version of a coming-of-age tale while in more of a twisted world. Just don't go into thinking it's a del Toro masterpiece and appreciate it for exactly what it is, which is a truly awesome and fun slasher.
