A longstanding idea that finally came to fruition during a pandemic. A few buddies from the polar depths of Canada decided it was time to take the leap and have some fun. We post various horror content for the masses, along with some odds & ends in the geek world. Will it be awesome and generate millions of followers? Probably not. Will we drop the best content and amuse even just a few people? Err, still probably not. Well... we're doing it anyway, and it's going to be one hell of a good time. For new visitors and loyal fans alike, here's a glimpse into our mindset and ideas behind the site.
Horror is a vast world of branches and parallels. We're not militant purists and believe horror can cover a massive amount of ground. From thrillers, crime, and suspense to sci-fi, mystery, war and even comedy; this genre gains and progresses best when it can be expressed (and interpreted) in as many ways as possible. Horror is rooted in most of us and is quite literally, the most versatile genre in the world.

We don't have the manpower or infrastructure to pump out endless content, nor can we possibly keep up with all the new releases (especially while going through our backlog and slowly adding pre-2000's titles to our ratings list). With so many movies, shows, games and news - we're going to be lagging a bit behind. We'll do our best and hopefully become more efficient as time goes on. Please also note that we source different information from various sites. Sometimes you'll see a release date for a movie or game earlier than a theatrical release. It's likely because it premiered at a film festival or something similar, or because wider releases are different from Country to Country. We apologize for any unintentional inaccuracies.

RATINGS

We decided to use a more modern system in our rankings. We tier from S to F, commonly used in gaming and list-posts, which we find to be a simple and effective way to review.
 

S = Elite
A = Excellent
B = Really Good
C = Good (Not bad, Fine, Decent)
D = Bad
F = Terrible

You may be asking why there isn't an 'E' tier, and the simple answer is... nobody cares about the letter 'E' and it wasn't invited to this party.
One note with the 'C' tier is that for the most part, a lot of content will fall into this category. It's the embodiment of the average where the movie/game is in limbo between really good and not worth your time. Tons of decent content in that tier, it just won't be bringing in any awards for awesomeness. We also prefer to do shorter reviews to get our point across quickly. We value and appreciate critics and fans alike who deep-dive and write longer articles for their reviews but for us, we like it simple.

But really... who gives a sh*t. Just like anyone else, our opinion is subjective and totally meaningless.
