The entire movie was ineffectual and a slog to get through. Skarsgard's performance was decent but this may be the first time I just couldn't enjoy an Anthony Hopkins performance (and that says a lot since I didn't even dislike him in 'Solace' as much as this.)

It never really succeeds as a thriller and is completely void of a sensible plot. Improbable randomness and stupid rationalizations had me rolling my eyes throughout. The last act was vexing as all hell and essentially sealed this movie's fate as one that wasn't worth watching.
