Review - Kimi (2022)

Soderbergh delivers just the right amount of intensity but unfortunately, the movie closes out in just 'acceptable' fashion. The movie plays on some fears and does a good job at showcasing the good and bad of a digital society. It didn't overplay it but definitely captured enough to make this story flow. Crisp frames, tense chase scenes, and tight dialogue/character interaction all added to making this movie well-worth watching, it's just not quite excellent. But damn... if Angela puts one more bottle on the edge of a counter like that, or if Yuri types on that keyboard like a dork one more time... I'm going to absolutely lose it.
