I'm not entirely sure why I had high-hopes for this movie but it was definitely a letdown. Apparently this movie won some awards? Really, though, the progression of events was atrocious. Dude strays from the pack and and somehow gets a stick in his leg. From this point on, the movie is absolute nonsense (aside from a pretty bad opening scene). I can't bury the entire cast and their delivery, because some of it was pretty good, but the entire scene where Ray (Eoin O'Sullivan) eventually bites the bullet, is absolute garbage. I did appreciate the scenery at the start of the movie. The somberness that the rain, gloomy sky, and terrain provided was effective, but this movie falls way too short in pretty much every other aspect. Stumbling and predictable, with no backbone.
