Fake thunderstorms are so goddamn annoying. Bury the Devil is the name of the movie and bury it in the bottom of my memory is the aftermath. From the opening scene right through till the end, the pacing was rough and the acting felt amateur. I don't want to completely shit on the movie because I liked the feels-like-a-one-take idea and I sincerely believe the movie suffered from poor casting. There were a few moments where I was like 'ok, that was kinda cool' but man, chill on the thunderstorm and maybe make it so a senior with supposed dementia, isn't moving around like a ninja, looking prim and proper like a standard retiree living her best life. Took a few nights to get through this one.
