New Witcher Game in Development at CD Projekt Red

A new Witcher game is in development over at CD Projekt Red, roughly 7 years after the The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt astounded the gaming world.

CDPR notes that this is the “beginning of a multi-year strategic partnership with Epic Games,” and that it “covers not only licensing, but technical development of Unreal Engine 5.”

As a huge fan of Unreal engines, the move from REDengine to Unreal 5 is, in our opinion, a great idea. With no concrete info on when the new Saga will start, or details of the game itself, we can only speculate as to whether or not it will a direct continuation of The Witcher 3, or if it'll be a fresh, new story.

Our biggest hint at the moment is the new poster showing what appears to be a cat emblem. Speculation is running rampant and we're here for it. Best guess is it will center around Ciri, which would be incredibly kick-ass.
