Horror & Hot Sauce [001]

Horror & Hot Sauce is a perfect mix! There isn't much out there that beats good eatin' and watching movies. Firing up the old VHS adds to the feeling, almost like it was back in the Blockbuster days. Tonight we've got nachos with Torchbearer's Zombie Apocalypse Sauce, and we're watching both Mimic and The People Under the Stairs.

Rewatching Mimic was great... I feel like I get this movie playing at least once every couple years due to my undying love for 90's horror. There was a certain darkness and tension back then that rarely gets replicated in horror released after the 2010s. The People Under the Stairs will forever be in that classic conversation but I'm glad I watched it first. As much as I love it and after seeing it so many times, it's a little hard to stay fully invested, especially with a belly full of cheese and hot sauce.
